Composting R2E Denim
Nagnata R2E denim is constructed from 100% Organic Cotton and dyed using organically grown vegetable dyes, employing ancient extraction methods and chemical-free processes that maintain soil purity and environmental integrity.
Designed with end-of-life cycle in mind our denim can Return To Earth after decades of wear. Simply cut the denim into smaller pieces, mix with organic waste and other compostable materials layering the textiles into the soil.
Let us together redefine fashion with pieces that harmonise with the earth, completing your wardrobe with integrity and purpose.
HOW TO COMPOST R2E DENIM

Remove non-compostable components
Carefully take off any metal hardware, woven labels, and trims. These parts are not biodegradable and should be disposed of in general waste.
Our R2E Denim is stitched with 100% cotton thread — a compostable alternative to the synthetic threads typically used in denim. While metal hardware must be removed before composting, the fabric and thread are designed to naturally return to earth.

Prepare the fabric
Cut the denim into smaller pieces to help it break down more efficiently.

Compost correctly
For best results, mix the denim with organic matter and layer it into existing compost for optimal decomposition. Do not bury directly in the ground.
Place the fabric scraps into your compost bin or green organics bin (check local council guidelines).

What we wear matters.
What we create matters.
What we return to—matters.
