We are often inspired by their eclectic vintage wardrobes so we had some fun when they styled the latest Movement 008 collection.Angus and Sarah emody the Nagnata SAMA uniform philosophy; a genderless collection that is designed to share.
To celebrate the launch of Movement 008 we soaked up some rays with one of our favourite Australian fashion icons, model Jessica Gomes, at the newly reimagined local motel The Sunseeker.
Net-A-Porter invited us to design styles for an exclusive safari inspired sustainable capsule collection with 100% of profits benefiting Space for Giants.
Space for Giants is an international conservation charity that works to protect Africa’s remaining elephants and the great wildlife landscapes they need to survive and thrive.
Vogue announced Nagnata winner of the prestigious Emerging Fashion Designer Award 2020 by Westpac Private Bank and the Australian Fashion Council.

This week we warmed things up in Melbourne, opening M/FW's first poolside show with 6 NAGNATA looks.
Complete with a lifeguard(!) we walked the athleisure filled runway at the historic Melbourne City Baths alongside Converse, The North Face, Rains, Up There, Incu, Huffer, Rag and Bone, A.P.C + sködiam.
We follow NAGNATA girls Genevieve + Courtney on their Summer road trip along the Californian Coast to Big Sur.
Ripe with misadventure, from stumbling upon a rodeo by the Madonna Inn to the cutest Hidden Kitchen of Cambria and everything in between, Highway 1 continues to prove it is full of magic in all of the liminal spaces.
NAGNATA founder Laura May met Myra Lewin, the vibrant 65 year old yogi and Ayurvedic teacher, in Byron Bay at the end of her Australian tour.
At the core of Myra's teachings, and the heart of Ayurveda, is the way in which we approach our life can either harm or heal ourselves. Resistance to life causes suffering and in particular with Myras life – caused disease.
'One thing to look at in reversing or preventing illness is taking away the cause. Keep backing up in the process of life to find the cause, then remove it. The body and mind can often take care of itself.'
Laura May styled Myra in accordance with the colours of the 7 Grahas. The Grahas are the qualities of the planets in vedic astrology. Myra coordinates her weekly activities and the colour palette of her outfits in harmony with the planetary influences.
Across the world, consumers are making more educated purchases: they want more than just a tangible product; they want to know they are supporting positive movements and making conscious decisions. It’s these consumer needs which make brands sit up, listen and hopefully take action.
As a relative newcomer on the market, NAGNATA forms part of a new generation of labels which focusses on its social responsibility and the impact it can make.
